Hat is a necessity (a peeling bald head is not fun...), and I kinda go 50/50 on shirt or not, usually depending on the overall temp as well as the water temp.

Being 21 and always playing sports growing up, I never ever went swimming with a shirt on...until recently when I was a counselor with my IFB youth group to camp and they made us wear shirts. First time ever that the youth group did that, and I grew up in this church.

Of the cuteness factor I have no doubt. However, I'm in agreement with Scorpio. The bursting into flames bit requires photographic, or preferably video proof.

As for sunburning, I'm susceptible to that, too.
