Judgment Day Aftermath
So, for me, the time has come and gone, and it never happened... I was busy playing a computer game anyway, and if Jesus came back, he would have just passed me by (I used to think that...)

Harold Camping is on facebook answering questions.

Apparently it is still going to happen according to Camping, but Jerusalem time now, instead of 6pm in New Zealand. That passed by two hours ago and was a non event.

I really feel sorry for him. I feel sorry for his followers. I feel really sad for all the children, terrified that "Jesus is coming to get them and he is probably going to be mad". I don't feel like mocking them, and I hope that Christians can refrain from it tomorrow morning, because stuff like this is no joke. It really affects peoples lives. It will destroy the faith of many.

For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; - Titus 2:11-12

RE: Judgment Day Aftermath
The problem is that he said something that the Bible specifically says we can't say, people told him that too. What he goes through from it is entirely his fault, and he needs to be held accountable for all the people he's leading astray, not be given a free ride to do it again.

I don't think he or his followers should get a free pass on this. In no way is this furthering the Gospel of helping the cause of Christ (not that he needs any help). They need to be held acountable for fear-mongering.

Flying a plane is no different than riding a bicycle, just a lot harder to put baseball cards in the spokes.

And, this isn't the first time he's made a rapture prediction...

I was thinking along the same lines. What arrogance he must have to assume he can know something that even Jesus himself doesn't know. I have a feeling this day will not end well for him, no matter what happens.
