The Walking Dead?
Ok, I realize that season 1 ended in december, and season 2 won't pick up until october. That said, and in honor of zombie awareness month, any fans of AMC's The Walking Dead?

RE: The Walking Dead?
I watched the first season. It was interesting, but the gore was a bit much.

RE: The Walking Dead?
I am a huge zombie movie fan. I watched. It was OK. I thought they went for too much drama. Not enough suspense and zombie munching for me.

I think over the 6-episode series as a whole the suspense was good, but there were some long sections that were more drama-based than suspense. I'm fine with the writers lulling you into a false sense of security before springing large-scale munching and such, but the downtime drama sequences did go a bit too long (Vatos episode). Episode 1 was, IMO, the best balanced episode. |

In the first episode, the most suspenseful part was when the main character was trying to the leave the hospital and ended up in the dark stairwell. He kept lighting matches and you just felt that at any moment when the match lit, you'd see a zombie. Spoiler alert if you haven't seen it........But there was none. Anything with zombies = good TV. That said I look forward to next season!

The fact that the Sun is maize and the sky is blue is neither in our control, nor is something we fraudulently contrived. It just shows that God has excellent taste in colors. |
