We really like this show! We love musicals too. What do you think?

RE: Glee
I don't watch it normally, but I've watched some Gleekends, and think it's a great show, I just wait and catch those occasionally.

RE: Glee
I love Glee! Sometimes I wish they wouldn't try so hard to be politically correct...but then I get sucked in by the story line and the relationships (especially Kurt and his dad). I love the music though--wish I had pipes like those "kids"!

The way it always was, is no longer good enough. You make me want to be brave. - Nichole Nordeman

RE: Glee
They had me until they decided to unleashed the abominable "Friday" on us. That song was terrible when it first came out a few months ago and was still terrible when they did it.

The fact that the Sun is maize and the sky is blue is neither in our control, nor is something we fraudulently contrived. It just shows that God has excellent taste in colors.

It might be a good idea to put WARNING SPOILER ALERT before you write about stuff from recent shows. I'm sure some of us can't watch it right away, and personally, I like the surprise element when it comes to the songs. Tongue

Glee is my favorite show! I've always joked about wanting to burst into song IRL, and this show satisfies those desires. Big Grin

Me too!! In high school, I sang in the a cappela group, and we always wanted to sing pop songs. We didn't get to do it too much, but Glee reminds me of how much fun we had. Sometimes, my friends and I would rock out to our favorite songs in the car, since we all sang different voice parts. That was as close as we got to "bursting into song" in public, because we didn't want to look like complete dorks. haha! That was one of the parts of high school I actually loved.

RE: Glee
I absolutely love Glee. I have all 6 of their albums. I even go on YouTube all the time and try to find live versions of the songs.

One thing I don't get is how some people in the show got this gig. Cory Monteith (Finn) can't dance or sing (listen to him live...not good). Mark Salling is a great musician, but even he doesn't have a great voice (listen to his self-titled album, I have it). The rest are great, Lea Michele was born to act and William Morrison is awesome.
