Thor
I just saw the movie "Thor" last night. It was exactly two hours according to one of the persons I went with. On a positive note, it didn't feel like a two hour movie. If you like movies with supernatural elements or comic book themes, then you will probably like this movie. It sort of reminded me of Lord of the Rings at moments but then you are brought back to "normal" earth every so often. Still, that's not meant to imply that things are normal when Thor shows up anywhere.

It's a tale of a proud Thor being humbled, and meeting Natalie Portman in the process. She is joined in the cast by Chris Hemsworth (as Thor), Anthony Hopkins (as Odin), and Tom Hiddleston (as Loki).

I liked the movie and did not regret seeing it. My cousin didn't like it, but then he doesn't like comic book movies. There was a little humor spread throughout the movie, but more of the movie was Thor knocking people around or breaking things. The way it should be. Smile

RE: Thor
The more good things I hear about this movie, the more excited I get! I was worried it wouldn't be good, but all the positive reviews have put my mind at ease. I haven't seen it yet, but I can't wait!

I'd like to be humbled if it involves meeting Natalie Portman...

I really like the comic book type movies. So I am excited about Captain America, the Green Lantern, and the others like that coming out.

RE: Thor
I'm planning to see it soon, but I already have the score album by Patrick Doyle, which is fantastic! And yes, I'm a total film score geek, proudly so!

RE: Thor
I saw Thor about 7 hours or so after graduation at Bob Jones University. It was a great movie. I'm a huge comic book fan, and Thor is one of my favorites. I'm even more excited to see what they will do with the Avengers.
