I know of a few IFB churches who consider January to be Stewardship month, with a bunch of sermons about money. It's a whole guilt-fest about tithing, giving to the church, giving to missions, just basically giving, giving, giving with an economics lesson about America's horrible money problems, both the government and the citizens who are filing for bankruptcy left and right.

Scumbag IFB pastor: Preaches on being a steward with money. Has little or no money in his savings account.
