Ah, the ever-present alliteration - even if it doesn't really fit! The direct = quick point is really a stretch, but direct started with D! And if he really wanted to be parallel, he should have made his last point be "turning aside is destructive."

Great logic there - grouping not loving purity with not coming out to church on Sunday night.

On compromise and toleration: "You might as well give them drugs & beer in 2nd grade." Because that's where they'll be eventually.

There are true dangers in tolerating sin and compromising by saying that Jesus is not the only way to heaven. Why not preach on that instead of insisting on having a Wed. night prayer meeting?

And the drugs and beer? Yeah, right. Jump right from not bringing your kids to Wed. night to giving them drugs. *rollseyes*
