RE: Why all the Liquor?
Been drunk enough times in my youth to know it's not pleasant. Even so, I'll have wine with a nice meal, a rare beer (I used to drink more of it, and even brewed it for awhile) on certain occasions, and I like martinis. I enjoy other types of mixed drinks, but never to excess.
I came up with my own recipe for martinis I call a Trinity Martini because everything is in groups of 3 - 3 oz of gin or vodka (I prefer Bombay Sapphire Gin), 3 drops of vermouth, 3 oz of ice, shaken in a 3/4 rhythm for 30 counts, then garnished with 3 large olives. Question: Why do you take two Baptists fishing with you? Answer: So they won't drink all of your beer. Where ever there are four Episcopalians gathered, there's a fifth. |
