I'm with Ricardo ... this vere can be interpreted in many ways.

If you read the verse the world is not defined as people but more as actions or opinions- "the cravings of sinful man, the lust of his eyes and the boasting of what he has and does"

So the world isn't really people at all.

Shoes have come a long way from their humble beginnings as simple leather moccasins. Today footwear is built to withstand any extreme environment where a foot can tread -- from the heart of a burning building to the track of an Olympic stadium ~Scorps
