Dumb question. How does the ignore button work? Is it for personal emails only or the the forum as well?

I'm not going to use this function right now..........so far. LOL.

Click on the person's name whom you wish to ignore. That will bring up that user's details. On the lower right side you should see links that say "Add to Buddy List" and "Add to Ignore List". You want the latter.

What you can't seem to get through your thick skull is this - you come to SFL and see things you don't like, and think you have to correct every one and everything to conform to your own twisted version of the "Precious Word of God." Then, when you're called out on this you wail persecution, "Oh poor me!", to the rafters.

In other words, you exhibit the exact same Fundamentalist behaviors that so many of these good folks have been trying to escape. And for some reason you don't see that, which just exacerbates the problem. And you don't understand why people don't like you.

So correct me if I'm wrong, are you not doing exactly what you say I'm doing. There is more "fundy" in this post of yours than I have ever demonstrated in all my posts combined!! But just like the fundy you are, you don't see it, just like Schapp, Hyles and the rest, you and many others here are just as bad. I don't fit into your mold, so anything goes to slander me to try and get rid of me, I don't speak or view things like the "in" crowd does and say so, and that gets me in trouble.

There is no oh poor me, again another fundy attribute, next thing you know you'll be calling me bitter. Many folks hear make me sick, I certainly don't care, it doesn't bother me whatsoever.

Your nasty name-calling is another very fundy attribute. I won't stoop to your level though, nor will I threaten you with violence or investigate where you and your spouse live and then post that on the internet.

What I think I know....

Daisy said some threatening stuff on her blog to Greg.

That Greg is not our Greg.

Our Greg thinks the threats were aimed at him.

Our Greg has become unhinged and is going on a rampage because people aren't coming down hard on Daisy.

Daisy remains somewhat unrepentant, but has taken off the offending material form her blog.

Everybody here thinks Daisy did a not very smart thing and either a slight social wrong or a grave moral wrong.

And Greg, no stranger to controversial statements himself (albeit, none threatening), is happily setting torch blazes to every bridge he can find.

I told my wife about this place, a little amused.

Then she met some weirdo at the local Bath & Body Works, who kept asking her very personal questions. She is almost convinced it's someone from the board come to stalk me and my family.

If every one is breathing normally right now I will try to clear up something. I am not the Greg that was on DD's blog, and never thought I was. (Greg is a very common name)

However I was, am and forever will be outraged at terrorism inflicted on innocent citizens. I highly dislike many of SFLers opinions on a myriad of subjects, but the thought of trying to find you and hurt you and your family is just not a place my mind visits. I submit if yours does, you should seek help.
