Prolly could have phrased that better, as in
'out of the question for me' . Smile As in personal preference.

I was just wondering what that particular decade had to do with it but to be honest its all a bit of a blur. Bad clothes and bad hair...some good music though. Wink

That's just how things were back then, I guess. LOL I totally agree about the clothes and the hair! I cringe when I remember some of the ridiculous polyester stuff we wore back then. I don't know where you are (from your use of the word 'practise', I'm assuming the UK or a commonwealth thereof, by all means correct me if I'm wrong) but here in the states we had a hairstyle wherein the bangs (fringes) were "feathered" and combed back a la Farrah Fawcett, and that made for some quite interesting Big Hair. The music, though, was indeed excellent!

Wasn't it? When I joined the Fundy Circus, I threw away my huge collection of 70's-80's music. And I never listened to it until I finally left Fundyville in about 2002. I slowly rediscovered it. And now I have an iPod full of that heathen stuff. And it is turning me into a monster. I will probably become a mass murderer.

That's what they say will happen, though I have yet to become one. Maybe I'm just a late bloomer?

I'm from the States. Typed that on a Nook touch screen. No spellchecker. Wink

That's an understatement.

I learned very little from my parents. My mom did sit down and read a stereotypical little kids anatomy book with me once. All I remember from that session is laughing hysterically. Learned a bit from the back corner newsrack at the local drugstore. After I started dating my husband, who taught me everything, my mom's only bit of advice was 'So, we're leaving you 2 home alone; don't, um, do anything.' And we didn't; we waited til everybody was home - more exciting that way.

That's gonna get old after a while, tho. Hence my preference to know beforehand. Not that that's the ONLY thing that matters, but for me it's in the top few.Smile Compatibility in all areas is my goal, and it was attained in Mr. heathen!

I meant the first time, rofl. That way you never end up marrying him and it's never an issue. Tongue
