Thanks lucre. This thread needed that.

Flying a plane is no different than riding a bicycle, just a lot harder to put baseball cards in the spokes.

I'm pretty sure that sentence doesn't mean what you're using it to imply.

Forget the fear/it's just a crutch/that tries to hold you back/and turn your dreams to dust.

Do tell?

The good news is that Christ died for all of you........not just some of you!

RE: Homosexual Marriage
I think he's trying to say that homosexuals are automatically immoral and irreligious.

Standard, desperate argument, when you have absolutely nothing to say, just make up stuff out of the wild blue yonder!

What am I making up? The original post was made re: consensual sex, bestiality, and sex with children. And you said homosexuality was more disgusting. So pray tell what I'm making up?

I think people are arguing over the amount of authority the church has or should have in the government. And the framers of the Constitution seemed to believe it should have none. But apparently, you know better ...

I think you better study the Framers and the constitution some more.

Let's hear from John Adams:

"Our Constitution is designed only for a moral and religious people, it is wholly inadequate for any other."

.........starting to feel foolish yet?

Not at all. I wonder why you think gay people are irreligious. I understand why you believe they are immoral -- we'll just set that aside. But why religion?

But I really do love how so many scream about "separation of church and state" until it affects one of THEIR pet peeves, and then they want the state all up in other people's business and dictating religious beliefs to them.
