I would say WHO CARES... but you are dealing with Fundamentalists with crazy hangups about this stuff.

And we all know that kissing always leads to necking and then heavy petting, then oral sex, then intercourse, then unprotected intercourse, and eventually babies out of wedlock. (Fundy terms) This all comes from the well-known Fundy principle that once you take the first step, the next time you see each other, you will start where you left off. And there is not one single college age man or woman who can stay of of bed without the rule about not walking a girl home after 7.

Well, I would hope so, otherwise what would be the point!

Generally I respond to that man-made philosophy with scripture...all those man made restrictions sound very spiritual, with their harsh treatment and denial of the validity of the physical needs of the body, their false humility in subjugating everyone to their own weaknesses, and man-centered focus on works as a means of worship, but they don't make a dimes worth of difference in dealing with actual sinful desires. - Colossians 2:23 CSREV [Captain Solo Revised and Extended Version]

I am guessing that it's a work-in-progress.

When I was in college, I tried some kool-aid, but I didn't like it, and I didn't swallow.

I am making it up as a go along...well, thats probably an unfortunate word choice...I generally just paraphrase a combination of the ESV and NLT, with a little LOLCat sprinkled (or poured if thats your preference) in for good measure.

When I have completed my life's work I will put up the link to the kindle edition.

Either way, it's reinspired, plus I am more knowledgeable that those who went before me, never before has there been a more perfect version in the English language.

RE: Christopher Peterman Expelled from BJU
The nice thing about it getting some good CNN coverage, is that you can tell not just the normal 50 people on each side are being vocal. People who have never heard of BJU before are actually getting their mind's blown by the extreme cult behavior, and the more that the BJU bots come on there and say "he signed up for this treatment! He's the idiot!" The more crazy they look. I'm very pleased that this school's actions are seeing the light of day. The way BJU vocalizes how justified they are in treating students the way they do because the student mistakenly signed their lives away, shows how nuts they really are.
