RE: Lawns
I just mow it enough to keep it below the 5 inch limit this trailer park has. If your grass gets too high, they'll mow it and then charge you. Besides, it can't look to great with the holes my dogs like to dig.

RE: Lawns
We do not have a jungle yard. We've had moccasins in the garage twice. Another reason I don't mind mowing where we are. haha
Forget the fear/it's just a crutch/that tries to hold you back/and turn your dreams to dust. |

RE: Lawns
I grew up in Costa Rica with this type of "lawns." (The ones in Lu's pictures.)
Instead of having to spend any time mowing, you will HAVE TO spend time cutting back the growth. The Jungle will close down the driveway in no time if you are not out there every week machete in hand. Which brings me back to the whole "working on the lawns" issue. For some of us, repetitive, mindless activities outside are immensely relaxing. a looking good lawn is just a side effect. The problem is when the lawn takes over, and becomes your idol. (I can feel a Jesus juke coming up right about now...) For every difficult and complicated question there is an answer that is simple, easily understood and wrong." H.L. Mencken |

We used to hunt rabbits and squirrels with beagles! They never shut up though.

We have two living next door and when they start baying and barking, it sets off my two dogs! She likes to chew on underwear of any sort, is on some sort of puppy crack that I haven't discovered yet, and can find blood-stuffed toys anywhere in your house or yard. On second thought, I'd miss her too much. |
