First of all the quoted scripture you gave is from one of the new age perversions of the Bible. The Lord was and is not the "one and only son of God." He is the only begotten Son of God. this is not a trivial thing, for all the saints are God's sons. This is stated thru-out scripture and cannot be argued. I bring this up for an important reason. The reason is that those who have a wrong view of God's plan and His sovereignty also have a wrong view of the Saviour. He was begotten {sired} by the Holy Ghost, and this makes him the offspring of God's seed. So this means he was begotten, the rest of us are son's by election. I haven't the time to go any further right now but welcome any further discussion.

+1 To fundy score for using 'saviour' in its propererly holy seven-letter spelling.

+1 for including 'pastor' in his name so we all know he's an important dude.

+1 for claiming to welcome further discussion while completely dismissing greg's statement because he doesn't quote from the KJV.

+1 for not comprehending quotation marks (ties into previous +1). The actual quoting done by greg was "How shall we escape if we neglect so great salvation" which sounds pretty KJV to me. The one and only son was greg stating things in his own words. 'What if he did? What if he didn't? What if the world was made of pudding?' (Gold star to the person who gets the reference).

Well I was going to comment on the fact that he calls himself a pastor but acts in an argumentative fashion, which if I remember correctly, excludes him from that role.

But it's midnight and I can't remember the quote from my KJV exactly, so I could be wrong.

Plus I'm a woman, so I should probably just stay silent, hmm?
