Real Marriage: Mark Driscoll
I just ordered this book, and will be getting it early next week. I'm looking forward to reading it with my wife. I'll post here what we thought when we are done. Anyone else order this?

Another review from another blogger. (She actually links to the review in the thread Darrell gave.)

Apparently (and sadly) it seems the book is selling well: http://www.christianpost.com/news/mark-d...ess-66316/

notdrinkingthekoolaid Wrote:Shoes...I think we've all played nice on this thread. yeah everyone's been cool. but the link to the other thread .... they weren't so kind to the book over there. The more negative reviews and comments were in that thread, and not directed at Brice, what-so-ever. i'm not a great communicator, like Obama .... hahaha briceman Wrote:I don't care all that much. I'll read through the book and come to my own conclusions For sure man. you gotta read it for yourself. there always stuff that i don't agree with 100%, finding anothers opinion and coming to your own conclusions is what's important. you can always learn something new. RE: Real Marriage: Mark Driscoll
Brice, when you're done reading it would you mind giving us a brief review? People defending the book keep saying "keep the good and ignore the bad" but no one ever gives an example of the "good" one is supposeded to be getting. I'm not trying to start anything, I'm genuinely curious. Personally I find Driscoll to be very triggering, esp when he starts talking gender roles and the church, reading just the first chapter of his book was too much for me.
