RE: Bobbed Hair
I know nothing gets me hotter than bobbed hair on a woman. Sometimes I even sneak a peek on the internet for bobbed hair pics. I keep a few under my pillow. I know I shouldn't. I think I must be addicted.

All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us.

A teaser:
"So angels are all round about us. And they are surpassingly concerned about our lives. Our eyes are blinded! We think that the other world, the unseen world and spirit beings are far, far away, but that is not true. And how angels do listen when a woman kneels to pray! For the sake of angels who always are near, Christian women should especially be careful to have long hair--"because of the angels," the Scripture says.
How are angels concerned about a woman's hair? I think that not only would angels be grieved by this mark of rebellion against husband or father and against God, but angels would be tempted, likewise, to rebel."
-John R. Rice

I knew I had nice hair, but I had no idea it was tempting even the angels. *flip*

Oh, wait, never mind. Mine's kinda long.

RE: Bobbed Hair
I don't get it. Super long hair on ladies (as in all the way down the back)--not my thing I guess. Shoulder length. Nice. Bobbed (is that expression from the 50s?) Nice. 2 inches long? Can be very nice! However, in the end, it is just hair.

I'm really confused about the hair for guys. Now, I heard that the rule is short and neat. But Jesus had long hair. Didn't Samson have all sorts of trouble when he cut his? What about crew cuts? I shaved mine almost bald this summer. Is that bad? Which is more rebellious--shaved with a 00 guard down to 1/16th of an inch, or long enough to hit my collar. I just want to know so I can do that one.

RE: Bobbed Hair
And why are beards bad? I'm looking at a painting of Christ (granted, it is how the artist thought he looked) in a beard. Looks cool. I've tried to grow one. I go about three weeks of no shaving and then it drives me nuts. I do like to go a week of no shaving at a time though. One lady at church (pretty conservative fundamental type) asked if I was "GROWING A BEARD?" I said naaaw, I didn't think so. I just don't like to shave. Wow. She wasn't totally sure how to respond Tongue

RE: Bobbed Hair
I've gone with a bobbed style more or less since 2009. Currently I have a Dianna Agron-inspired bob. I know a lot of guys dig girls with longer hair, but whatever. I lose about 1-2 years in age with every inch that it grows. That may sound like a nice way to de-age, but it's not really that great when you just end up getting a bunch of young college guys trying to go after you. Plus at work or at networking events I prefer to come off as someone who has work experience, not some kid right out of college.

Not sure. I guess it's not considered polite. Next to screaming at me for swearing, my mom likes to scream at my brother and my dad when they don't shave.

RE: Bobbed Hair
I think the rule among hockey players and hard core fans is "you don't shave from February 1 until the conclusion of the playoffs of the team you follow closest." That would be 2 months for me with my following of D1 college hockey. It is called a playoff beard.

Maybe you should remind her that screaming's way more impolite. Wink
