I haven't drunk anything for about a decade, more because I spent the time pregnant one year, nursing the next, throughout that whole time period than any personal conviction, and I was never a big drinker before then. Fruity, girly drinks for you, then. |

RE: Beer.
I tried a beer tonight. I don't know what it was, other than that it was a lite beer and it was at a bar. It didn't taste like anything. It was like sparkling water, or something.
I dunno - I thought it was going to taste worse. |

Shockingly, not all women only like sweet tastes. Tiarali, perhaps you could befriend a microbrewer. Touring a local brewery can be great, too. Often pubs/bars that focus on beer will have samplers, so you could get them with a friend and try a bit of several things at once. A good bartender should be able to recommend things to try and may give you like a shot of beer to taste to see what you might like. Good luck! “If you are neutral in situations of injustice, you have chosen the side of the oppressor. RE: Beer.
If you find a local brewery they offer tours and tastings. It's a little big of magic.

I hate the taste of sparkling water; can't imagine beer not tasting like anything. But I'm probably a supertaster. Here in Greenville, Barley's offers 6 half-pints for $12. Not a bad deal. There are 4 or 5 preselected samplers, or you can even pick all your own (excluding the most expensive beers). That has been a great way to branch out a bit without spending quite so much money. |

It did taste like something. Like a watered down, slightly fizzy, overall bland drink. I'm not a fan of sparkling water, but I was surprised that for something that is so revered as a drink, it just didn't taste like much. |
