The World Will End On 5/21/2011
Family Radio - KEAR 610 AM

Wikipedia page for KEAR

Harold Camping

A buddy of mine up in Northern California mentioned this radio station to me. The man stating the end of the world is not a IFB guy; but he is a compelete wackjob considering he has prophesied the end of the world many times since the 1980's and has never gotten it correct.

I've been seeing some billboards claiming this around my city.

I'm glad I realized that Family Radio and Family Life Radio are NOT the same things!

"Do not look so sad. We shall meet soon again.” “Please, Aslan,” said Lucy, “what do you call soon?” “I call all times soon,” said Aslan.

If the world does end on 5/21/11 then I am afraid that I will not have gotten to 750 comments on the forum, thus never acheiving that elusive 5th star. Big Grin

Some people just never learn. What part of "..not knowing the day or hour..." do they not understand?

Flying a plane is no different than riding a bicycle, just a lot harder to put baseball cards in the spokes.

Harold Camping has zero credibility. The amazing thing is that anyone listens to him.

He wrote 1994? and that book will reveal the value of his Bible math.

He wrote Wheat and Tares announcin the end of the "church age." That book will show you the strength of his biblical exposition.

The best part is that after May passes, his
sheeply will continue to follow him. Amazing!

WHAT???? You mean I'm going to miss The Hobbit being made into a movie? (That one is already cutting it pretty close on the Mayan calendar!) And the final Harry Potter installment? Crap. Big Grin

If you read closely, the world doesn't actually end until October, so we can still catch Harry Potter.

Ah, very good. And I suppose if a 7 year tribulation is factored in, we have a ways to go yet assuming the Mayan calendar doesn't trump the Antichrist. Cool
