It looks like a little person with a comics' "bubble" next to him as if he's saying something. Originally, there was an option to give negative points as well as positive points, but Darrell disabled the neg rep after a while.

When I was little, my mom made me a set of three bears toys out of flowery calico. I still have them (we won't mention exactly how old I am, but suffice it to say, it's a miracle those poor little bears haven't dry rotted).
