I managed to figure it out for myself, but it sure is awesome being able to pick and choose what I want to watch now. Loving it. When I was in college, I tried some kool-aid, but I didn't like it, and I didn't swallow. |

RE: 2012 Olympics MEGATHREAD
I love the Olympics and I hope to see the US win as many medals (hopefully golds) as possible. Those athletes pour everything they have into training and it's good to see their hard work rewarded. Though I'll watch events like diving and gymnastics, they're not high on my list as the winners are determined more on the whims of the judges than actual talent. You can get a biased judge in there and someone can get royally screwed. That possibility ruins certain events for me.
Give me a good race event any day, be it in the water, on a track, or on a bike, and I'll eat it up. Those make for some pretty exciting moments of television! The fact that the Sun is maize and the sky is blue is neither in our control, nor is something we fraudulently contrived. It just shows that God has excellent taste in colors. |

My uncle is over there. I think he's been to all of the last few games. He works for the tv station that televises the games.

I was so proud of our ladies yesterday taking the gold in gymnastics. I was especially pleased that Jordyn Wieber got her gold after missing out on the individual competition.
Go Team USA!!!! (we'll just not talk about the men's gymnastics. sad. sad. sad.) "It doesn't help to wear a hat on your head if your posterior is exposed." ~ PW "Don't make crazy your normal and then wonder why nobody agrees with you." ~ EC |
