I've found quit the opposite to be true, at least from a political standpoint (in my town.) But then again, the Great Clips I go it is within view of the back gates of BJU.

RE: Is it just me..
My favorite barbershop had 3 conservatives guys and one liberal guy the other three spent the whole day picking on.

It was very entertaining.

RE: Is it just me..
OH MY GAWD... Okay, let me tell you all about this. So, I got witnessed to in the oddest way the other day when I was cutting this guy's hair.

He says that he's reading a book about Heaven and proceeds to ask me if I think it exists. I said yes. He then proceeds to ask me if I'm going there. I said yes. He then asks me how I know. So, I quote Romans 10:9 and John 3:16 and said that I believe in what Christ did. He gets attitude and says, "Well.... you have to REPENT too... it's not just about BELIEVING." I said, "Yes... well, why did Christ come? To save the sins of the world. I believe not only in what He did, but that I cannot enter Heaven without believing and accepting His blood to cover my sins."

That seemed to quiet him.

it was just the WAY he said about the repentance part. I wanted to say, "That's the way to convert 'em, there pal. Piss them off!!! Yeah!"

Ok, maybe it's just me. Blush

They're just agreeable, unlike most of the Fundamentalist young women I've met at FU and church!

This pisseth me off. None of the YRR/New Calvinist/Living Water crowd are happy to find another Christian. They always want to run them over the coals.

For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; - Titus 2:11-12
