I grew up in a dysfunctional family on a dirt road in central West Virginia. We had a well. We chopped firewood for heat. I only saw my dad on weekends for years because he had to work out of state to provide for us. I got in fist fights at my elementary school because when I got a new pair of (not brand name) tennis shoes the welfare kids were jealous. The unemployment rate was over 30% in my county. Some of my neighbors had livestock that lived in their house. My sister and I were blessed with a natural intelligence that allowed us to claw our way out of poverty into upper middle (and in her case, upper) class American life. I live in the same town I was born and every day I see people who were not so blessed.

Tell me again how I can't get a date and don't know what it's like to be poor.

I've been throwing around invective? I said your VIEWS were mawkish, ignorant and sexist, and i cracked a joke, that is not hate for christ's sake. And first your sister marries a guy, then attends a Prestigous school just to prove she can, then quits her career to be a housewife because, oh, she cant stand the traffic--and now you want me to believe that you and your sister clawed your way from the depths of poverty because, oh, you're just that smart?! I dont buy it but either way i cant help that youve consistently portrayed yourself as a spoiled, ignorant egotistic asshole and braggart.
