A few years back a not-too fundamental friend of mine sent me and others a story about how evil Harry Potter is, how J.K. Rowling is using it to get kids into witchcraft, etc. I then did what I usually do when I get these things and I looked it up on the 'net. Come to find out, my friend was sent an article about Harry Potter from the Onion (though it didn't say it was from the Onion when she got it). Fortunately, she realized that the article was a satire and sent something back out to everyone letting them know. Sadly, I think my dad read the same article (minus being told that the article is satire) because he think HP is one of the most evil series of books ever written.
