I rescue Fundy tracts, too. People leave them on the bus in the "take one" brochure slots all the time.
I intentionally chose a church that uses electric guitars and drums in the music, not because I think traditional worship is bad or wrong, but because it still makes me get the Fundy twitches. RE: True Confessions
Well, I did purchase a Wilson-Phillips CD back in the 90's. Now, I just fiddle around with the juice harp.
I also confess that while in Bible College, a few friends of mine and I used to take a blind friend of ours to healing meetings on Saturday evenings (we marked that down as our "church service" for the weekend)....nothing ever became of it though; but in retrospect, he did get his head hit a lot. Oh well, my bad. Having a 'How 'bout them Cincinnati Reds?' day...and waiting for the other shoe drop... |

No. He was there in the late 70's/early 80's. He didn't bring back recordings of anyone famous (except Pavarotti). I confess: despite my intense love for peanut butter, I've never actually tried a fluffernutter and I had to look up what it was. |

I agree that the real thing is better tasting and fluffier. And before you ask, creamy not chunky, but I buy whatever brand is on sale. Some are better than others but peanut butter is like ice cream - it's all good! I've never tried strawberry fluff, I'll have to pick some up next shopping trip. God makes the impossible look easy. I threw away my Anne Murray music when I became a Fundy. Now I want it back.

Yes, I too have been guilty of de spamming whatever place the poor browbeaten fundy slave left his literature. If I felt there was a genuine positive result with the idea of leaving small pieces of paper all over the place, believe me, I'd be doing it myself. Unfortunately I think it is much more of a negative thing since it means more work for people who have to clean up trash. Having real relationships with people and sharing your faith in an honest non confrontational way will always be more positive in my mind than spamming everywhere with trash, my opinion. |
