Though im pretty sure its just to say we tried, im just wondering of some of your experiences with leaving and how you done it.
I visited another church for some time. And I joined a small group in that church. I saw that the Christianity was as real there as it was in my fundy circles. And the people were not judgmental asses.

thats something im struggling with now. Ive seen God move in my IFB church, and from the sound of all the preachers ive heard, all other moves of GOD in other denominations must be a trick of the devil.

You can listen to my pastor's preaching on the net. He is well known. I will send you a link to a short excerpt. And if he is of the devil, then I will go back to IFBism.

What defines a "move of God"?
I'll give you a hint as to where I'm headed with this question: If you can draw boundaries on what God's movement is, you are putting God in a box. It is not possible for the created being to fully define its creator.
Question EVERYTHING. Especially if it comes from your church or anything to do with your faith.

I did not renew my contract at the Fundy Christian School, and since I was living in required staff housing, I moved out at the end of the year. And started going to a new church. And got a new job. And wore pants. And spent a lot of time trying to figure out what parts of my faith were salvageable.

yep thats it, figuring out how to re-boot, like shedding away all of the stuff told or taught to me. its tough, but i find every day the more the fundy teaching fades, the more im able to hear the Spirit
