RE: Fundybook - Faith - 01-23-2012 09:28 PM And of course only a lesbian would care about marriage equality... RE: Fundybook - Tiarali - 01-25-2012 02:15 AM [attachment=502] Now, this was posted by an Australian living in Australia. It is not illegal to pray in schools here. In fact, most public schools have a chaplain, and have Religious Instruction, which people choose to opt out of if they don't want for their children (rather than having to opt in if you want it). Just seems silly. RE: Fundybook - redbeardiam - 01-25-2012 06:46 AM (01-25-2012 02:15 AM)tiarali Wrote: Now, this was posted by an Australian living in Australia. Don't tell the fundagelicals... But is not against the law for students to pray in school here either. RE: Fundybook - Tiarali - 01-25-2012 06:52 AM Yeah, I've heard that, but not being American I don't want to be the one making a statement about it, in case I get jumped on

My personal favorite addition to the poem was: Mary had a little lamb She ate it with mint jelly And everywhere that Mary went The lamb went...in her belly. RE: Fundybook - Tiarali - 01-25-2012 08:14 AM Mary had a little lamb Her father shot it dead And now it goes to school with her Between two chunks of bread! RE: Fundybook - redbeardiam - 01-25-2012 08:17 AM My Grampa's version is: Mary had a little lamb A little cheese, a little ham Mary had a piece of cake and then she had a bellyache! |
