I have tonight received confirmation that the tape is at the Sheriff's office and I know the name of the victims and the detective handling the case. If there were any concerns about having evidence, they have been erased.
Now, we need all current members of Berean to stand up! Our bylaws state you can not vote if you miss three consecutive Sunday's. Therefore, it is imperative that all members keep attending until we can force a vote. It should be coming in the next couple of weeks, around the same time school is over. If you are waiting for scholl to be out, please hold-on if necessary so you will be heard. We need everyone to count as we need a 75% vote.
I was initially concerned that we would not have enough proof to convince the remaining doubters that this is true, but I now know for a fact we do.
This is Berean Baptist Church, not Neal Baptist Church. There are so many great people and we need to take a stand for right. We can not just up and leave like others and let this evil continue. Too many good people have been hurt for too long.
It is time to take a stand. I know it is hard, but we can make it through.
If you are not a member, please pray for those of us remaining that we can take back our church and set it on the right path.

It's a bit of an undercover mess just now. I personally cannot confirm if there is, in fact, a tape, but I do know I have yet to hear a statement from the pulpit stating it never happened.
Now people are leaving, and are usually getting their character assassinated. I'm trying to stick it out until the sheriff's department makes an official announcement as to what was on the tape. It it is indeed true, I'm gone. And going to try my best to get my family out too....

Call the detective and I'm sure she will verify a tape is in her possession.

You mentioned in your earlier post that you personally can't confirm if there is a tape, so if you wanted that confirmation the detective can confirm that she does have video tape in her possession. There are many threads on this in the Berean forum on the FFF. Someone posted this on the Fundamental Forums:

That has helped me know I am doing the right thing for my family since I personally talked to Bro. Bartlett, Det. Lanier, one of the victims, my children, staff members, and so on."

Though staff is still acting like nothing is wrong. And Nero fiddles while Rome burns.
