Today’s photo comes from Valley Forge Baptist Temple. An alert SFL reader who happened to be visiting snapped the photo of this posted quote and has submitted it for your consideration.

If you’ve never heard of popcorn preaching it’s sort of like open mic night for young or less talented speakers to get up and “preach” for a few minutes. I’m always fascinated to watch teenage preacher boys develop their yelling style. They’re so earnest. And trying so hard.

You can tell this one is a star pupil by the way he doesn’t even bother to crack his Bible.

I’d imagine the guidebooks describe this intersection as “Two streets that only every turn right forming a couple of very large squares.”

This man was insane.

I’m just amazed as I watch this at the folksy charisma with which he communicates. He seems so very trust worthy. He seems so very safe. Why wouldn’t you trust this man?

My favorite line: “I would waste my money on you…and I wouldn’t sign your Bible.”
