Special: YouTube Bible Project

Ok, so this is isn’t techncially a “Stuff Fundies Like” post except perhaps for the fact that fundies will also enjoy the project I’m about to plug here.

The YouTube Bible is the King James Bible Trust’s ambitious project to create a complete reading of the King James Bible on YouTube. Our readers will comprise of actors, sportsmen and women, musicians, politicians and most importantly … YOU!

So if you’re in the mood to read an obscure bit of the KJV for posterity with other notables such as Prince Charles and Yours Truly (as of this writing my submission has not yet officially been accepted but I’m hopeful) then fire up your camera and read a bit aloud.

Now back to our regularly scheduled insanity…

      1. Darrell,

I didn’t know you were in Alabama–I used to live near where you are now a few years back.
Did you attend any of the crazy IFB churches there? maybe we crossed paths “back in the day”

        1. I’ve visited a few churches around here but haven’t attended any of them with any frequency.

        2. There are some real crazies not far in any direction. And the NON IFB’s are even worse!

          Alot of “Ruckman-ism” too.

I did visit two or three that seemed much more solid and less legalistic IMHO and a good SBC one across the GA line.

        1. Remember Al Franken on SNL impersonating Paul Simon (the senator, not the singer)? “And that’s why I wear … (pause) … the bow tie.”

P.S. You’re much better looking than Franken.

        2. My wife bought me a bow tie for Christmas I have not worn yet.

You and the Doctor inspire me to do so Sunday if I can figure out how to tie it.

  1. Well if the King James Version was good enough for Paul and Silas, then it’s good enough for me. 😛
