You forgot that men are also allowed to wear blue jeans so long as they are the kid that can be bought at places like Tractor Supply. You know...the really stiff ones with no shape that actually get more blue and darker the more you wash them.

Excellent choice of the PLEATED Khaki's. Have IFB's declared pleated to be the scriptural pants, or that's just understood? I would love to see a sermon about pleated pants being God's choice over flat front! :)

And don't forget the ever popular heavy pants under a skirt while sleeding! There is a woman in our midst that wears a little prayer doily and a couple of skirts and leggings--in the summer! I think that Christian women should dress modestly, but stylish. The half Amish thing does nothing for the cause of Christ, Puts us apart? No, puts us to shame.

Reminds me of another misconception:

A long time ago in the days of the Inquisition...

"We kill you in the name of Jesus for he was a white man from Oxford."

"No he wasn't. He was a dark skinned man such as we."

"Oh... well, we kill you in the name of Jesus because he would not approve of your religion."

"Actually, Jesus is a prophet in our religion."

"Oh... well, we've come all this way. Would you mind terribly...."

@J Leslie,

Nope, definitely not implying that Jesus wore a robe, nor am I saying that he was something other than a blond-haired, blue-eyed Scandinavian with pale skin since he *never* spent any time outdoors. *cough* I was merely referring to the female dress code equivalent of khakis, but I think I like your take better. ;)

Yeah. After the resurrection, Jesus wore a suit, white shirt, and tie on Sundays; the rest of the week, however, he wore khakis (with whatever kind of shirt your "camp" requires). He never wore jeans, shorts, or any kind of casual shirt.
