About the picture attached to this post, I’d just like to say…

There’s nothing new under the sun. Think the whole “Hallelujah, I’m a white Baptist male” thing is new? Galatians 3:28, one of my favorite passages, says “There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.” (even in the KJV for the fundies!) You know why that passage is constructed that way? Apparently (and yes, I know I’m using an unsourced story as part of an argument…) the Pharisees at the time literally prayed “God, thank you I was not born a Gentile, thank you I was not born a slave, thank you I was not born a woman.”

So yeah, basically the fundy Baptists of today are the same as the Pharisees of Paul’s time. What a shocker.

Love how there’s a little letter to the “Sinner” at the bottom of the page. IF a “sinner” mad made it to the bottom of that page, I assure you, they would not have been in a praying/converting mood. On a separate note— I found the photos of the pittbulls with their ears completely cut off sickening. A horrible thing to do to a beautiful animal.

I went and viewed the site you published above and it broke my heart. i am very familiar with that mentality and now that God has graciously brought me out of it, I see they are doing more to slander Christ’s Name than they could possibly know.

The gay pride T-Shirt might be an attempt to one-up Fred Phelps from the looks of it. And how exactly is that going to be “all things to all men”? I think the shirt says “self-righteous and loving it” all over it!
